Principle of gravitational filtration invented by Doulton & British Berkefeld in 1826 :

The upper reservoir of the fountain is filled with unfiltered water, which by gravity will pass through the ceramic-carbon filters to arrive perfectly purified in the lower reservoir after 4 stages of filtration:

1. Exterior of the ceramic: eliminates pathogenic organisms (bacteria, parasites, cysts, etc.), sediments and impurities.
2. Interior of the ceramic: Antibacterial formula to prevent any internal microbiological development.
3. Anti-heavy metal media: reduces heavy metals (lead, mercury, etc.)
4. Activated carbon in granules: Eliminates taste, bad odors, chemicals and perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) eternal pollutants.
